What we have learned about losing a person or thing is not always positive. We also need to learn about the negative aspects that loss leaves behind, this is all part of dealing with loss. In a jumble of emotions, for example, loss leaves an indelible mark on our egos, and this continues to take its toll even when those emotions are no longer even alive. Therefore, we must also learn from the negative aspects of the loss, and focus on the good things that remain of the whole situation.

From the moment we are born, we begin to learn our own things, and to find security we learn to be close to it and who we love.  But few people help us understand what to do or what to feel when we lose someone close to us, or when we experience some other kind of despair. When we experience a close loss, an end to a relationship, a dream, or the loss of some material thing, the main cause of pain is the attachments as well as the fears we have embraced or developed over the course of our lives.

To get over the losses and rise from them even stronger, we need to focus on the positive things that this loss may have raised in us. The most valuable thing about this whole case is that we learn from it. It is a teaching that allows us to regain our strength and desire to continue living.
